The test bed is used to process and render video, run synthetic benchmarks for long periods of time, and play some demanding games such as Grand Theft Auto 5, Cyberpunk 2077 and Horseback Riding and Blade and Slash II: Overlord. The power supply fan is activated, but it is almost invisible when running two fans to keep the Ryzen 9 processor cool through AIO. The software monitor shows a stable power supply to the most critical components, which is expected and good news for the PSU.

The SilverStone SX700-PT is hardly annoying. We want to see one aspect of improvement, and that is the capacitors used, and the warranty. Using all the Japanese components, we found that the PSU had no problem when hitting hard with the overclocking components, but the PSU only had capacitors rated up to 85C.
Competitor capacitors can usually withstand up to 105C of heat, for example, very quiet! Dark Pro 12. The PSU also has a 10-year warranty. Compared with other power supplies on the market, this problem makes the sales of SX700-PT more difficult. However, if you do buy one, then you will have a good time.

Looking at competing products, SX700-PT may seem a little out of place. A five-year warranty is great for the PSU, but a bit short for power supplies that are priced with advanced options such as the Corsair SF series that have a seven-year warranty. It also uses capacitors with a rated operating temperature of up to 105C.
This is also a bad decision for larger PC builds, as the full-size ATX PSU will be more affordable, or with additional connections and a longer warranty. This does not mean that you should not consider the SX700-PT, but if you want the best value, please keep this in mind.
